The Level Sensor helps keep the SCR system supplied and operating correctly. Besides measuring AdBlue® level, it can also monitor temperature and fluid quality, while some models support tank heating through engine coolant.
A failing sensor can cause false readings, warning messages, unexpected stops and engine derating. Temperature-related faults may also disrupt AdBlue® operation and lead to further SCR system issues.
