The differential pressure sensor compares the back pressure before and after the particulate filter. High readings indicates that the filter needs regeneration or cleaning. Low readings indicate the filter is broken.
A faulty or poor quality pressure sensor can send the vehicle into safe mode, or cause the filter to improperly regenerate. So always replace with OE-grade sensors from Dinex, where replacements are on stock for the vast majority of Euro VI trucks and busses in the market.
