Dinex develop and produce complete systems for all European Emission Standards, including the latest Euro VI
European trucks and busses have been relying on Emission Technology in the exhaust system since the introduction of Euro IV (4) in 2004. The latest installment is Euro VI (6), which was introduced in 2013, and practically turned exhausts into miniature chemistry factories, reducing a range of pollutant emissions using filters, catalysts, auxiliary systems and additives (AdBlue®).
Under normal conditions, the exhaust from a Euro VI vehicle is cleaner than the ambient air in a typical urban environment. But to keep the system operating normally, it requires maintenance. Many breakdowns can be avoided by simple, regular service routines, and observance of particular signs in the exhaust can expose critical engine malfunctions, before it leads to costly repairs.
Dinex is not only offering a complete range of quality Aftermarket spare parts for all components of Euro IV, V and VI systems. We support our customers with training, knowledge and troubleshooting, as we understand the complexity of the many different technologies working together in a complete system.
Dinex is the only supplier of full range Euro VI emission technologies with Type Approval for legal on-road use.
We combine our global OE competences and innovative optimizations, with the competitive spirit of the Aftermarket.
We offer online and onsite training, webinars, guides, videos, troubleshooting, and much more. And: We speak your language.
Euro III was the last set of regulations that trucks and busses managed to cope with via engine optimizations alone. With Euro IV and V, most OEMs used Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems to meet the new NOx-limits, and with Euro VI came also Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) to trap ultra-fine particles.
Meanwhile, cost and complexity of the exhaust system increased significantly, but the environmental benefits are remarkable:
Toxic Nitrogen Oxides were reduced by 95% and Particles by over 99% compared to 30 years ago. This practically means that in certain cases, the exhaust of a heavy duty truck may be even cleaner than the air you breathe!
Although Euro VI systems are highly effective in nearly all situations, it's not the end of the road for clean mobility.
In 2028 Euro 7 will bring emissions to a level of near-zero in all driving conditions, address previously regulated pollutants and filter out particles down to 10 nanometers (that's about 10 times smaller than an influenza virus!).
Dinex is already in development of technologies and solutions in collaboration with leading global OEMs. Of that you can read more about here:
Undoubtfully, Euro VI has made it more complex and more expensive for truckers to operate. Many are tempted to save money by accepting non-type approved spare parts or less efficient DPF cleaning methods.
But the consequences of such choices may lead to even more complexity and costs on the longer run!
Dinex suggests a different approach: Utilize Aftermarket suppliers who knows what they're talking about, and supply parts that meet all applicable industry standards at competitive terms, while offering support, training and guidance needed to avoid making costly mistakes. In other words: Partnership!
